Village Board Minutes April 20, 2026 (XX) A special meeting of the Village Board was held April 20, 2026 at 9:00 AM in the Village Hall, 244 Main St. Mayor Miller called the meeting to order. Roll Call: Trustee Kietzman
& Trustee Stollery were present.
Trustee Clark& Trustee Bedell wereexcused. NEW BUSINESS The Board discussed issuing an Order onConsent to Brad Morrow, owner of 2 Palmer Ave to require the immediate demolition of the condemned building which is in danger of imminent collapse. The order would acknowledge the Village’s right to engage contractors to perform the demolition on the Owner’s behalf and assess the cost against the subject property. Upon signing the order the Owner would waive his right to a hearing in this matter which is currently scheduled for April 20, 2026 at 5:30 PM and the hearingwould be canceled. Resolution #XX approved, authorize mayoral signature on Order on Consent for 2 Palmer Avenue. Resolution #XX approved, authorize mayoral signature on contracts with Apex Environmental Consulting, Jackson Demolition Services Inc, and any and all other documents necessary for demolition of the structure at 2 Palmer Ave. The Board & Mr. Rhodes outlined plans for demolition regarding obtaining an asbestos waiver and acquiring a contractor for third party air monitoring during demolition. Neighboring properties will be contacted when a demolition schedule is in place. Insp Hepner will work with the Owner to have all utilities disconnected. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Trustee Stollery,
